Private Secret Lagoon Tour
The Secret Lagoon (Gamla Laugin) near the village of Flúðir is the oldest swimming pool in Iceland, first built in 1891. It sits in a geothermal area where small hot springs bubble up all around the pool.
The water comes straight from the hot springs and stays at around 38-40 degrees Celsius all year, and a little geyser next to the pool erupts every few minutes. It is a calm, natural alternative to the bigger and busier lagoons. We drive you there from your hotel, wait while you bathe, and bring you back.
Duration: about 4.5 hours from and to your hotel in Reykjavík, with about 1.5 hours in the lagoon. Free child car seats for any age.
