We start at Þingvellir National Park and continue to the Geysir geothermal area, where the Strokkur geyser erupts every few minutes. Next is the mighty Gullfoss waterfall. On the way back to Reykjavík we pass Skálholt, the oldest bishop's residence in Iceland, founded in 1056, and the greenhouse town of Hveragerði.
